Master of Arts in Intercultural German Studies
One program. Two universities. Two degrees. The master’s program in Intercultural German Studies is the first joint degree program of a German and a Canadian university in a subject in the Humanities. As a result, you have the opportunity to study German Studies not only from a German, but also from a Canadian point of view. Your first semester in Mannheim will be followed by a complete academic year in Waterloo, Ontario. Afterwards, you will study one more semester in Mannheim. You will focus on German language and literature and look at your own culture from a completely different angle. Furthermore, you will have the chance to experience constant cultural exchange.
